Meet Me @ Miami

Meet Me @ Miami will be held August 8-11, 2012, in Coral Gables, FL at the University of Miami School of Communication. The workshop features software, design, writing, photo editing, leadership, social media, typography, marketing and organizational tips classes. It also teaches students to work in groups on real-life projects. All participants will work in teams that produce media pages about South Beach.

Register for Meet Me @ Miami to improve or develop your student publication skills and bring back new ideas for your staff. The four days in South Florida will give you the creative edge to improve your publication and make it a campus leader.

Instructors at the seminar will be Gold Crown and Pacemaker advisers and former staffers along with professional media experts.

Last year, instructors, advisers and staffs from Central Michigan University, Indiana University, North Carolina State University, Northwest Missouri State University, Southern University, UCLA, University of Miami and University of Oklahoma attended the workshop.

All meals are catered by area restaurants featuring Cuban, Italian, Southern BBQ, and NYC deli cuisine. Desserts are available every night.
